Crazy Eye Bag Removal Trends

There are some crazy suggestions floating around as quick fixes for those under eye bags. Are they worth it and what are we forsaking in the name of vanity?
Hemorrhoid cream was a popular search result. Let’s investigate. After all, it made a lot of sense. Hemorrhoid creams are anti-inflammatory by nature. I was quickly convinced not to consider it an option. Several board certified specialists suggested that long-term use of hemorrhoid creams could make the skin around the eye area worse and can even lead to health problems!
Spice concoctions, including but not limited to turmeric and cinnamon seemed to be popular and holistic. Until CNN enlightened me that is. “Use at your own risk.” “Irritating.” “Will stain your skin orange.”
Let’s move on to a couple of more bizarre treatments. One of the trendier treatments is Carboxy Therapy, carbon dioxide injections to remove wrinkles, bags and dark circles. Small amounts of carbon dioxide are injected just under the lower eyelid to increase circulation. The treatment takes a few minutes and is promoted as painless and risk free. You will need a series of 2 to 6 treatments, each a week apart and treatments can run about $150 per treatment.
